FunHouse premiered June 23, 1983 at the
Public Theater (The New York Shakespeare Festival under Joseph Papp).
Following the engagement at the Public, the piece ran for three weeks at
the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as part of a national tour of Great
Britain. It reopened in the Fall of that year in a revised version
for a two month run Off-Broadway produced by Frederick M. Zollo and Frank
Gero.
